Farewell to my dear friend JB, a man for whom I had great affection. After JB suffered his lifechanging stroke, I went to see him several times. It was really upsetting to come to terms with the fact my friend full of bon vivre was no longer the person I recognised. It was, however, comforting to know that his caring and loving wife Edna would give him the love and support he needed. God bless you JB. I'll see you in the bar upstairs.
